The two top managers of Bodegas Lustau have worked hand in hand on its creation: Sergio Martínez, winemaker; and Fernando Pérez, master distiller. They have been in charge of carefully selecting the wines and botanicals that make up the secret recipe for this vermouth.
It is made from the blending of two wines: a Fino, dry, mineral and almond-like; and a Muscatel, sweet, floral and citrusy. The result is a light and refreshing vermouth, with a bright golden yellow colour, with a markedly bitter finish in which the Fino notes dominate.
Wormwood, gentian and chamomile stand out among the 9 botanicals and aromatic plants selected for its production. In addition, to achieve the best extraction of flavours and aromas from the botanicals, each of them is macerated separately.
