Fine, complex, deep and long-lived, Viña El Pisón 2014 is probably one of the most complete and balanced Rioja red wines currently produced. One of the most precious jewels of the winery run by Juan Carlos López de Lacalle, it nobly expresses the character of a privileged vineyard, located on clay-calcareous soils, near the Alava town of Laguardia.

El Pisón 2014 is a wine that always stands out. It has a different balance, in the sense that it feels more complex, complete and balanced. Even within the year's strength, it has round, fine-grained tannins, powerful yet subtle and great length. Very tasty, mineral, almost salty finish, and the elegance of the calcareous soils.
