La historia del proyecto comenzó en el año 2000 cuando Theodoro Conrad, nacido en Suiza e instalado desde hacía unos años en nuestro país, decide plantar un viñedo en la finca conocida como “Don Jacinto”, comprada el año 1998, al quedar deslumbrado por el imponente paisaje de la Sierra de la Nieves, que acaba de ser declarada Parque Nacional.

En el año 2012 la propiedad fue adquirida por Olivier Bourgeois, también de nacionalidad suiza.
