Protos produces its high-end wine, Protos Selección Finca "El Grajo Viejo," only in years when the harvests are exceptional. This single-varietal Tempranillo undergoes 18 months of aging in new French oak barrels. On the nose, it is intense, with predominant aromas of ripe black fruit. It is powerful and intense on the palate, with good acidity and structure, leading to a very long finish.
