Description

Grapes from the highlands of the DO Rueda. Adequate ripening of the fruit without drops in acidity. The harvest was carried out selectively, depending on the health status and maturity.

The flower musts were fermented at a controlled temperature of 15ºC, in order to ensure the varietal expression of the aromas of the Verdejo variety and its complex aspects. Subsequent clarification and stabilization.

Pale straw color with steely reflections. The nose is frank and intense, with aromas of white fruits on which mineral, nettle and honey notes stand out. On the palate, the wine is broad and tasty on the palate, elegant and structured, with a long, acidic finish.

El Grupo Bodegas Olarra nace en 1973 con la construcción, a las afueras de Logroño, de una bodega para grandes vinos de Rioja. Técnicas modernas, bajo una cultura tradicional.

En 1985 surge Bodegas Ondarre, que exprime al máximo la tipicidad de los viñedos y la diversidad de suelos de Viana. Allí se elaboran vinos de larga crianza y los primeros cavas del grupo.

En el año 2000, se inicia el proyecto de Bodegas y Viñedos Casa del Valle que, con la misma filosofía que los vinos de pago, sigue el clásico modelo Château.
