D.O. VT CASTILLA Y LEON
Barrel-fermented Verdejo from the Tomás Postigo vineyards located in Nieva (Segovia), aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. Clear and complex nose, where ripe white fruit predominates, accompanied by floral notes and soft, well-integrated toasted notes, and a creamy, well-structured mouthfeel with enveloping tannins.
Verdejo (100%), comes from a selection of ungrafted vineyards in the Nieva area (Segovia).
12 months in new French oak barrels, with periodic beating in the same barrels.
Golden yellow with golden reflections, clean and bright.
Explosion of ripe fruit, pineapple at first, which changes to endearing notes of artisanal pastry ovens, very fine and elegant wood. Very attractive on the nose. Note of toasted pine nut shell.
Very creamy on the palate, lots of structure with perfect acidity and smoothness. Retronasal loaded with fruit and elegant bitterness that makes it long-lasting.
