Finca Valdepoleo is one of the most emblematic vineyards of Bodegas y Viñedos Pujanza. The wine that comes from it is a clear example of the nature of the area, but passing through that personal sieve of Carlos San Pedro. From this double character emerges a vibrant and fresh wine, very subtle and in complete harmony. It comes from a vineyard divided into seven plots that are worked separately from the harvest to the end of barrel aging. It is then that, through blind tastings, the percentage of each plot that will enter the final blend is decided. Hence its complexity.
Fermentation was carried out in small stainless steel tanks differentiated by soil type. Malolactic fermentation took place in the same tanks.
12 months in 225 L French oak
Cherry red, clean, bright.
He appears attractive and suggestive. Deep and warm aromas, mainly of red fruits with subtle black fruits, floral memories and tertiary nuances. Fresh and complex.
Delicate, with a very round entrance. It appears harmonious and complex, with body and nerve, with polished tannins and no edges. Very balanced.
