From the Pagos de Anguix estate, located over 850 meters above sea level, right in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, comes this magnificent wine made exclusively from the Tempranillo variety. Patience and wisdom are all it takes to allow this noble variety to express the true richness of this unique terroir.
The wine has an intense and brilliant red color, where the purple nuances characteristic of its youth are still present. Its aroma is already very complex and intense from the start.
Clear notes of toasted almonds and hazelnuts surround a deep background of red fruits. Gradually, as it opens up, hints of vanilla, coffee, cocoa, and remembrances of cedar, tobacco leaves, and chocolate emerge. On the palate, it reveals a deep tannic structure, balanced by a good mineral acidity that gives it a great freshness.
Its velvety texture and great unctuousness caress the palate, filling it with pleasant sensations. The long finish leaves us with a remarkable fruitiness and distinct spicy notes.
A magnificent wine that will improve in bottle for the next 10 years.
