The Louisiana sun and the Mississippi River delta bear witness to the birth of this spectacular American rum. It is distilled in Lacassine in American copper stills and then aged in American oak, which enhances the fermentation of sugarcane, giving the rum a superior quality.
Bayou Select Rum is handmade and gluten-free. The barrels used for aging the rum are Bourbon barrels, and the rum undergoes up to three years of aging under the Solera system. This dark rum will delight rum enthusiasts with its aromas of vanilla, spicy notes, ripe fruit, and a slightly dry finish. It won the Gold Medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco in 2019.
