Cragganmore 12 Years Old is a single malt whisky from the Speyside region of Scotland, combining all the qualities of the varieties aged in Bourbon barrels from the Speyside area. The stills used in the second distillation are unique, with flat ends and relatively short lengths.
It has a pale gold color.
On the nose, it offers soft aromas, a blend of floral scents, riverbank herbs, and flowers, with hints of honey and vanilla. Some experts detect dried fruit aromas (pears and apricots).
On the palate, it has a strong malty flavor with touches of sweet, smoky wood and sandalwood.
The finish is medium-long, malty, with a light smokiness and sweet hints.
