Made with an exclusive formula that combines nearly 80 herbs and spices, Yzaguirre Vermouth offers that special and distinctive touch that sets us apart. Our products are crafted following the traditional method of the old producers born in the Italian Alps. As a result, we present our classic and reserve vermouths, along with the special Selección 1884.
The base for all our vermouths is white wine from various regions of Spain, made from the Macabeo grape, a variety that imparts a fruity, aromatic touch with balanced acidity.
With a mahogany red color, Yzaguirre Rojo Reserva Vermouth is highly aromatic, velvety, and pleasant on the palate, with notes of wood, herbs, and spices evoking memories of ripe fruit. The initial taste is well-balanced and flavorful, perfectly harmonizing with the acidity of the product. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels, it gains consistency and character.
Our recommendation: Enjoy it as a daily aperitif or an afternoon drink. It’s excellent as a long drink with a few drops of Campari, 3 or 4 ice cubes, a slice of orange, a broken orange peel inside the glass, and a mint leaf. It is also ideal for adding flavor to meat or game stews, seafood paella, or pastries.
