Made in a unique terroir, this wine benefits from an albariza soil, known for its high water absorption capacity and calcareous composition, which facilitates the root development of the vine. The temperate climate, with hot summers and the moderating influence of the nearby Atlantic Ocean (winds and dew), contributes to an ideal microclimate. Production begins with the manual harvest of Palomino Fino grapes, which are then gently pressed and fermented at a controlled temperature. After reaching a specific alcohol content, the wine is fortified and aged in 500-litre American oak casks, following the traditional solera system. This process takes place in wineries located in El Puerto de Santa María, where conditions favour gentle oxidative ageing. The result, the Osborne Bailén, stands out for its bright amber colour with greenish reflections, intense aromas of vanilla and hazelnuts, and an elegant and complex palate with notes of sweet vanilla, roasted coffee and cedar wood, culminating in a dry and persistent finish.
