The Virgen del Galir Winery is a young project located in the heart of Valdeorras, at the foot of the Camino de Santiago. It has 20 extraordinary micro-parcels located at over 600 meters above sea level, on slate and granite soils. Since 2018, it has been owned by CVNE.
Maruxa Mencía comes from recovered vineyards located on terraces and slopes in the Sil Valley. The vines are centennial and are planted in clay-loam and slate soils. The winery practices traditional farming and the harvest is manual, using 15 kg boxes.
