Fermentation with native yeast in oak vats, followed by aging for 26 months in selected French oak barrels from the cooperage itself. Prior to bottling, a clarification with fresh egg whites is carried out, and once in the bottle, the wine undergoes a finishing process for a minimum of 18 months in our cellar. Muga Selección Especial 2019 has a high layer and a deep red color.
On the nose, it has very high intensity with notes of ripe fruit, blackberry, and bramble complemented by spicy aromas of vanilla and clove in the background, adding great complexity.
On the palate, it has a marked and well-integrated acidity, with very polished tannins and medium body. Very silky and elegant, with ripe fruit notes returning alongside well-integrated wood touches. Very long and balanced.
This Reserva, thanks to its good acidity and balanced tannins, suggests great aging potential.
This wine pairs well with red meats, lamb, and all kinds of game dishes.
