Sourced from vines planted between 450 and 490 meters above sea level on the lower terrace of the vineyard, in alluvial soil that allows for the production of light, highly fruity wines with the pure typicity of a Rioja Tempranillo. These wines are ideal for early consumption due to their balance of fruitiness, medium body, and freshness. Early harvest.
The 2015 vintage was marked by abundant winter rains and a hot summer, which led to an early harvest. August brought more moderate temperatures, ensuring excellent vegetative growth and a moderate grape load, conditions that remained stable until harvest time.
The winemaking process follows the traditional Rioja method: destemming, crushing, and cold maceration of the must in contact with the skins for 24 hours. Fermentation lasted seven days, with temperatures consistently kept below 25ºC. During this period, pump-overs were carried out to extract color and aromatic compounds. The malolactic fermentation occurred spontaneously before the end of the year, and by January, the final blend was completed and bottled.
