After the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are completed, the wine is transferred to American oak barrels, where it rests for twelve months. It is then bottled to undergo reductive aging in the bottle for an additional twelve months.
Intense on the nose, with dominant ripe red fruits like cherry and currant, as well as spicy notes like clove and pepper, and vegetal touches such as green pepper. The toasted flavors from the wood stand out.
Very expressive on the palate, complex, voluminous, and balanced. The polished and smooth tannins stand out. A very long and pleasant aftertaste.
