The climate in the D.O. Monterrei is Atlantic but with Continental influence, as it is located south of Ourense, on the border with Portugal. The climate is drier than in the rest of Galicia, with hotter summers and very cold winters. This wine is a 100% Godello varietal. In terms of production, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with temperature control, followed by a 3-month resting period on its lees.
Pale yellow with greenish highlights. Aromas of medium-high intensity, with prominent herbaceous notes (fennel, anise, etc.) and white-fleshed fruit like Granny Smith apple, with a hint of quince.
